The Raptor (EMT tool) includes a strap cutter, ring cutter, 5cm ruler, oxygen tank wrench and a carbide glass breaker. Expected release is May 2013. Will include MOLLE compatible polymer holster. Great tool for those who piece together their own personal IFAK. Not sure if EMT professionals would buy this considering it’s a cutting tool they typically toss at the end of the night.
The One Hand Tool announced last year hit some snags. They anticipate to have them available in full capacity soon.
Leatherman also released a series of pocket tools that are reportedly air travel friendly: Brewzer, Mako Ti, and the Piranha. Photographed below is the Mako Ti for bicyclists with a bottle opener, 1/4″ hex bit driver, 8mm, box wrenches in 9mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 16mm, and 14ga/15ga spoke wrench.
Loco pack is a prototype using 19″ stays that may be used without the waistbelt above a battle belt. The side, or slot pockets are designed to lay flat against the side of the pack when not in use, but capacity to carry quite a bit of gear – sort of like how cargo pant pockets are made. The slot pockets are reportdly good for carrying mortar rounds, SAW drums, and linked ammo when needed, but it’s really limited to your imagination. Also notice the new flat XTL with the same cinch down capacity as it’s predecessor.
The Zippy is about 16″ tall with straight walled sides to meet demands for a larger E&E pack. It uses no suspension, but includes the Xray shoulder straps with a 1″ waistbelt just for stability if needed. Dock n Locked capability is available to attach to large packs, and an attachment kit for direct mount to armor will be made available soon. The top lid with the new contoured pocket is a significant improvement that increases the capacity, but not the height. The zip open sides are a cool feature, which also have mesh pockets. The front have five rows of PALS with 6 channels across. The side doors have five rows of PALS with four channels across. The Kifaru Organizer pocket fits, Mini Long Pocket will be additional accessories for this pack.
Xing is essentially a Xray with 22″ stays. Great for the taller folk who want to maintain utilization of the Omni suspension system.
MOE Shotgun Forend, SGA Stock, Forward Sling Mount, SGA Receiver Sling Mount are now available for the Remington 870 and Mossberg 560 12ga.

Excellent as always! If you have a chance to ask Mossberg, I am curious whether the Mossberg MVP Flex stock can be used on a regular Mossberg MVP.
It’s looking a lot more like I need a shotgun! Can’t wait for tomorrow!
