Among the firearms I took out recently was a Ruger SR22. If you recall, I posted a short disassembly video of the SR22 from SHOT Show 2012.
I finally purchased one this week. Probably my first new handgun purchase in awhile.
First several rounds seem to have POI consistency issues; however, after about 100 rounds, it settled quite well. Otherwise, I primarily had fail to fire malfunctions – likely attributed to the ammunition (Remington Golden Bullet bulk pack). I prefer the larger grip, over the smaller one. I still enjoy shooting the Ruger Mark III 22/45 more, however.
Otherwise, today was a good day.
I wonder what’s worth more in FRNs at the moment — the boxes of ammo, mags, and arms, or the truck….
Arms > Ammo > Truck. Arms will peak around mid January then fall in March if nothing happens. Ammo will steadily increase as it has over the years. The truck is a depreciable asset; however, provided the notability of the model, it will be substantially less overtime compared to other vehicles.
Buy this for it, only weak spot… http://www.twintechtactical.com/Takedown-Lever.html
