SHOT Show 2011 – Colt LE901

Colt LE901

“The weapon for any mission,” the Colt LE901 is a multi-caliber defense system.  The lower receiver utilizes magazine adapters to convert “a single serialized lower receiver into multiple caliber, barrel-length, and operating system configurations.”  Swapping uppers is really straight forward.  I could see how a magazine adapter may fit to switch from 5.56mm to 7.62 calibers.  Looks pretty nifty.
