SHOT Show 2011 – Tactical Solutions/Black Dog Machine

Tactical Solutions’ GLOCK conversion kits has finished nicely as opposed to the kit displayed last year.

I spoke with Kevin from Black Dog Machine and he gave me the run down on the future of .22 AR magazines.  Modular by design, the fiber glass filled feed lips can be replaced [though it’s highly unlikely that it will break].  Starting as low as $10 for each magazine, there will be different options priced a different points depending on the options you wish for in a magazine.

Black Dog Machine has been selling the magazines with the modified feed lip for a few months now.  These work with the .22LR AR-15 bolt catch, created by a Californian resident, Alex.  The magazine is likely this product on their website.

Kevin also discussed some changes he made to the Ruger MK series holster.  The older version was not capable of utilizing the factory Ruger rails and scratched some silencers.  Both issues are reportedly solved.
