I rarely blog about what I do, but I thought this was noteworthy. Anyway…
Narrative
On a routine review, a gentleman complained his firearms were taken away. No crimes were committed and a CWIC 5150 was never recorded. Nonetheless, someone thought it was a good idea to take them away without cause – for his own good. There’s a small bit of hoplophobia, too. I requested this gentleman’s counsel to argue if this was warranted in his client’s best interest.
Just received the summary today:
Counsel requested his client to be allowed to possess firearms.
Both sides present argument.
Court trial is set for the sole purpose of possession of firearms by the client.
