Test post for the Android

image

Getting used to technology is no easy feat.  At least the key board seems to work out nicely.   I might be able to blog for SHOT Show from the floor.  Instant coverage bonus.

if you get a flickr account and use photo mule (I worked on it), it will upload all your pictures to flickr automatically.

Visit droid-forums.net or droidlife.com for information regarding the droid and finding cool/new apps

a few you may want to check out:
    Angry birds (of course)
    astro – directory/file manager
aldiko if you’re into reading books on your phone
advanced task killer – kills tasks running in background = save battery life
    barcode scanner
    dolphin browser HD
    Handcent SMS
    Juice Defender
NPR News (for reading. sucks for listening unless you want to hear specific stories)
Public Radio Live stream — awesome app.

    Which model?
There is debate as to just how useful task killers are. We use ATK on ours, but many in Android Forums feel that they’re of no real use.
Several apps for shooters: Shot timer and Mil Dot Calc are both free; Shooter is a ballistics calculator by the same guy who wrote Mil Dot Calc.

i try to ignore the existence of the newer models, so I don’t get the urge to run out and get a new phone when I’m barely 6 months into the contract… 😉 But the Droid 2 sounds good. (We have original Droids.)
