6:00 pm. NSSF all you can eat pizza feed at the Silver Legacy Hospitality room. After dinner will be the fund raiser raffle for Project Valour-IT and the drawings for the door prizes.
Saturday Evening until Midnight: Refreshments and conversation at the Silver Legacy Hospitality room. Bring your own refreshments and munchies.

Woke up and did my morning routine before rolling out to the range with CS Tactical.  Despite a late start due to a breakfast mix up with the bloggers and CS Tactical‘s crack like habit for Starbucks coffee, we had a good ol’ time besting our time for the Gun Blogger Steel Challenge.  Great day to be outside!

Mike and I also did a little T&E between the Zeiss Victory LRF and the Swarovski LRF.  Comparing our findings with the shooting facility’s known ranges of targets, it was a very interesting comparison.  Be sure to tune in a few days to check out what I observed.

Bill Brassard of the NSSF joined us later that evening for a quick update followed by the guest of honor, Jeff Bader, co-founder of Solider’s Angels. Pizza was enjoyed by all and the prizes provided this year were top notch!

From the raffle alone, $2000.00 were raise for Project Valour IT!  Fantastic turn out!  Many thank to the GBR sponsors and bloggers, particularly Mr. Completely for putting another great fund-raiser together.

According to my notes:

Para USA donated a 35% coupon off of a new Para PXT pistol.
Springfield Armory for lots of swag.
– Lori Petoske of Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. brought with her laptop type bags, hats, mugs and other swag.
– Colin B. Anthony of Midway USA donated pistol range bags for every blogger, t-shirts and other swag.Midway.  Mr. Anthony will also provide bloggers special discount codes for their respective blogs!
Hi-Point Firearms donated a 9mm carbine
Front Sight donated a four day training voucher
Leupold donated a Leupold VX3 scope, delivered by Allen Forkner of Swanson • Russell
Crimson Trace donated a pistol case, range bag, swag and a voucher for a laser grip
GLOCK donated a voucher for a standard model GLOCK
– Jeff Bader, on behalf of Solider’s Angels, donated three copies of Solider’s Angels: “May No Soldier Go Unloved”
– David Whitewolf of Random Nuclear Strikes donates two signed copies of Stephen Halbrook’s books.
– Caleb Giddings of Gun Nuts Media provided a signed NRA hat
– Larry Weeks, on behalf of Brownell’s donated many prizes.  Most notable was a Signature Series Deluxe Range Bag and Brownell’s modern sporting rifle magazines.
– Kevin Baker of The Smallest Minority donated LaRue Tactical 30mm scope rings
National Rifle Association provided breakfast for all bloggers
– Dan Hall of GunUp.com donated GunUp.com shirts

I blame it on food induced amnesia, but Bill Brassard with the National Shooting Sports Foundation also provided us pizza!

Of course, there’s the Silver Legacy for providing the hospitality room and a projector!

Thanks again so much for your donation of that .177! Myself and both of the parental units are waiting until next weekend (the next time we all have a day off) to go and try it out.
Also, those are some mighty fine pics of the rendevous!
