Though it’s not an official theme, it might as well be.

Pierogi topped with sour cream and parsley.

I was going to make trout with a brown butter sauce recipe this evening; however, I couldn’t find any trout.  I went with a pierogi recipe instead.  The stuffing tasted good on its’ own; however, it was on the bland side with the dumpling skin.  It may have something to do with not adding enough salt to boil the dumplings.  I may try it again.

Can’t go wrong with blueberry muffins, though.  These were good and a hell of a lot less effort than the dumplings.

Blueberry goodness.
