I’m watching Mythbusters right now. I see that they’re setting up their experiment to shoot a single action army revolver out of a simulated hand.
WTF?
I’m heart broken that they’re going to shoot it… even for the sake of science.
EDIT: Okay. It wasn’t that bad…
EDIT II: LOL at the attempt to discharge a cartridge with a fuse.
I don’t know what bothers me more, when they spend a lot of time and effort to test a “myth” the science of which is well understood, or when they pull a dumb stunt like said fuse “move.”
My favorite episodes are still those with Kari Byron shooting Dillon’s mini-gun… or doing anything, for that matter.
It’s a toss between either instance. I can understand of doing something for the sake of “science” despite the obvious outcome, but that does drive me nuts. However, there’s no excuse for the fuse deal. That’s just silly.
Kari is, indeed, entertaining.
Yeah, the fuse thing had me scratching my head too. I mean really; they know how a gun works, they know how a cartridge works, wtf?
