It’s getting cold! I don’t even leave the house without a pair of long underwear on anymore…
I understand the concept of laying well; however, I have very few pairs of nice wool long underwear. I never needed to wear them that often. I have a merino wool pair from TAD Gear. The other pair is a level 3 Patagonia made out of Capilene polyester. I came across Montana Woolen Shop and it appears to be promising. I’m specifically looking at Filson for pants and Windsor Wear for long underwear. I’m going to look it over while I cuddle next to my Presto HeatDish. Anyone have recommendations for this cold Californian? Must be wool material. My skin isn’t sensitive to the fabric. Wool/cotton blend is acceptable, but not preferred.
I got Thermasilk long-johns on right now – and a pair of Capiline ones by Patagonia also. Cotton isn’t quite enough and wool makes me itchy. The TAD gear stuff looks good.
We got the coastal layer back so things warmed up a bit, but we have a space-heater to take the chill off the living room.
You, sir, need a Snuggie. (TM)
DC: I’ll take a look at those Thermasilks. They do look promising.
David: A Snuggie would be perfect for casual cult gatherings.
