Considering the downpour the California Central Valley received, it was anticipated that there was going to be quite a bit more water coming down North Fork Dam. I drove out to Auburn, paid the $10 parking fee and walked down to the base. Boy was that water flowing! A lot of water vapor in the air made it difficult to snap a few clean shots. A lot of that water collected on the camera, my clothes and tripod. As a result, some photos look blurry.
- A photomerge of six shots.
- I was bummed out that this didn’t come out any sharper.
- ISO was not high. All of those specks is water.
- Verboten!
- Short hike out. Not too far.
- I don’t share this sentiment.
- A California sunset.

Awesome pics. I just love the WHOA sign, cause I have no idea what it is suppose to stop.
I particularly like this picture because it’s a hefty cop and reminded me why I will occasionally carry.
Unfortunately, it was a state park…
