Officially, Boomershoot 2009 ended yesterday evening. We departed from Orofino, ID at approximately 0800. David and I made it safely to Firebase Blue on a sunny/drizzly afternoon. I managed to sleep 2/5 of the way there. Kudos to David for driving.
Phil, his wife, David and I went out to eat at an incredible seafood restaurant, CI Shenanigans. For those who know me personally, I’m not a huge of seafood. I didn’t order their seafood of course, but I ordered their pear stuffed chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and asparagus. OMFGBBQ, it was delicious. I’ll have to be sure to find a recipe and try to make it myself.
This restaurant had a gorgeous view; however, my camera managed to detach itself from my hand. Instead, I only have these mobile phone pictures.
- View from the restaurant.
- I just thought the name was interesting.
I have a photo of the dish, but Photobucket or Verizon isn’t cooperating. Maybe in a few hours.
With my vacation coming to a close, I can wrap up this rare series of posts with a good summary. I’ve met terrific people, learned a lot of new information and had lots of fun. Stay tuned for more!
