.22 Short

There’s something adorable about the .22 short.  I think it’s the absence of sound.  It’s like having a silencer, but without the tax stamp.  I think I’m going to pick up some subsonic .22LR and see how well they do in the US Survival Rifle — it’ll be gone soon.

    If you haven’t tried the Aguila Colibri (“hummingbird”) no-gunpowder .22 shorts, you’re in for a treat. They’re REALLY quiet.
