My uncle was kind enough to lend me his RCBS Rock Chucker. I have dies for .38 special, .357 magnum and .44. It looks like I have a majority of the components to get started. Things like a scale, calipers, bench, etc. will likely be ordered soon. This is a great start.

The Four Rules of Firearm Safety
Rule One -
All guns are always loaded.
Rule Two -
Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
Rule Three -
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
Rule Four -
Be sure of your target. Know what it is, what is in line with it, and what is behind it. Never shoot anything you have not positively identified.
*Follow all four rules at all times and accidents will never happen.

VERY COOL! I was given a similar setup. Here are my posts about it…
Ya gotta love Craigslist…

If you have any questions about how it works… or what any of those parts are….let me know (if you dn’t have anyone else to ask…like the guy that gave it to you.)
Excellent. I’ll definitely keep you in mind. I’ve been referring to the ABC’s of Reloading and that’s been helping a bunch, but it doesn’t hurt to have a human to refer to.
I’m going to be picking up my bench in a few hours. Hopefully I’ll find one that will fit in the small space available.
Excellent outfit.
A coupla years ago, after a move/storage during which I was bereft of my 50-years accumulation of reloading gear, I ordered such a kit from Midway. It helped to keep me sane while my place was being built and until I could FIND my gear!
Be sure to get a good scale. Meanwhile, something like the Lee Dipper kit can get you thru, ‘specially with handgun cartridges.
Enjoy!
PS… I’m enjoying your blog.
PPS…My own feeble brain is also available for picking, as you need. I’m at outbacknotes.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by Bleepo!
A scale and a caliper are really the only items I need to get started – minus the cartridge components. I just built my bench – so the junk I just moved to put it there needs to be cleaned up first. Slowly, but surely I’ll be loading up.
I do appreciate the positive comments. It’s absolutely nice people do enjoy reading.
Just checked out your blog. I’m not much of a stickler for chili recipes, so I think I’ll eat some out of a can for now. haha.
