Blogging, again.

I went to San Diego for a wedding. It’s interesting how much things change, yet remain the same. Here I had a childhood friend getting married, has a wonderful career and a beautiful wife. He and I hadn’t seen each other for YEARS, but that didn’t necessarily stop our mothers from recollecting our play time cluttered with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters and video games on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Honestly, I barely remember the specifics; however, I do remember having a blast. I suppose that’s all that matters.

I really enjoyed myself.  Confirming that their life together is built from common interest, emotional connection and commitment was really something. Listening people speak and witnessing the connection between the two parties reminded me how important the family foundation really is.

I am a very lucky guy to have such a foundation.

Anyway, we visited a few places before attending the reception dinner and wedding ceremony. Renting a boat was one of them. It’s been awhile since I’ve been on a boat, so here I am enjoying the ride… perhaps dosing off a little bit.
