From bloody fingers, battered women and pets, to countless shards of broken glass, www.wiihaveaproblem.com has it all. The crazy thing? Many of the Wiimotes remain undamaged.
It’s been awhile since I heard any Wiimotes destroying televisions and other household appliances. Nonetheless I remain perplexed as to why it’s so difficult to keep something in your hand. Really – just play and hold tight. Don’t be a wimp!
Yes, I’m aware that the strap on the Wiimote is dinky and doesn’t have the tensile strength of a chain, but who are you people? Why depend on such a joke of a “safety device.” Does one lack the ability to grasp? Perhaps you’ve played too long? Goodness, should I be fortunate that hammers and axes don’t have wrist straps? I bet you’re the type of fool who is likely to shoot yourself in the foot because a gun didn’t have a “safety.”
I suppose Nintendo got a little antsy about the ordeal and currently offers free Wiimote sleeves.
“Use the wrist strap, keep your palms dry and, whatever you do, don’t let go.”
